LTSC is the lead agency and fiscal agent for the Asian Pacific Islander
Small Business Program (API SBP), a collaborative of 5 community-based
organizations in the Los Angeles API community. API SBP's team of
business counselors speaks seven languages (Japanese, Mandarin,
Cantonese, Thai, Korean, Tagalog, and English) and assists over
1,000 micro and small businesses each year. Individual business
counseling and training includes: business planning, permits and
licenses, loan packaging and post-loan support, credit repair, record
keeping, and many other start-up and expansion issues. API SBP is
an SBA Women's Business Center, an IDA partner agency, and a TrickleUp
