LA LISC & AmeriCorps
LTSC has been awarded an AmeriCorps volunteer from LA LISC. LTSC’s AmeriCorps Member will assist with a new financial education program LTSC has recently launched. The Member will help with workshops and one-on-one financial coaching with residents living in LTSC owned and managed apartments.
AmeriCorps engages more than 80,000 Americans in intensive service each year at nonprofits, schools, public agencies, and community and faith-based groups across the country.  Since the program’s founding in 1994, more than 800,000 AmeriCorps members have contributed more than 1 billion hours in service across America while tackling pressing problems and mobilizing millions of volunteers for the organizations they serve.
LTSC would like to thank LA LISC for their continued support of LTSC’s programs and services.

A3M's Starnight on October 4
Another year has passed and A3M's Starnight Annual Gala is rapidly approaching. This year's event will be Saturday, October 4 at the Hyatt Regency (formerly the Marriott) in Downtown Los Angeles.

As always, the highlight of this event will be a patient meeting his or her marrow donor for the first time.
The program will include a performance featuring the wonderful vocals and ukulele sounds of Jason Arimoto, co-owner of U-Space in the JACCC, and other inspiring and moving elements. There will also be a silent auction with many great and one-of-a-kind items.

Sponsorships, program ads, and tickets are still available. Visit http://a3mhope.org/index.php/starnight-2014 for more information on how you can support this event, or contact Madhuri Mistry or Ashley Honma at 213-625-2802 if you have specific questions.
