After-School program provides weekday tutoring and mentoring to youth living in Casa Heiwa and Angelina Apartments.
CHAMPs (Casa Heiwa Angelina Mentoring Program) collaborates with students from UCLA who provide mentoring and educational enhancement on Saturday mornings to youth ages 5-18.
Financial Capacity and Asset Building Program assists residents and neighbors to build their financial capacity with workshops and one-on-one counseling. Families learn how to develop household budgets, reduce debt, increase savings and enroll in education or vocational training.
Civic Engagement Program serves residents by providing voter education, voter registration and mobilization efforts in local and national elections.
Bilingual Case Management, employment preparedness and childcare referrals allow families to stay on track and prepare for and prevent minor issues from becoming major ones.
Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) provides free tax return preparation by IRS-certified volunteers. Our clients are able to save money and obtain refunds.
