The programs of the Little Tokyo Service Center are committed to helping people and building community.

Budokan Image

Budokan of Los Angeles - The Budokan of Los Angeles (BoLA) is a multi-purpose sports facility that will be located in Little Tokyo, downtown Los Angeles.  Today, LTSC is embarking on a major capital campaign to fulfill a long-term dream for the community.


Children, Youth, and Families - Little Tokyo Service Center offers a variety of programs serving children and youth ages 0-18, including the Grace Iino Child Care Center and Angelina Preschool.  Other programs include a family child care network, mentoring and referral, and child abuse prevention.


Little Tokyo Community - Little Tokyo Service Center works with other stakeholders to revitalize Little Tokyo into a vibrant community while addressing cultural and community survival, empowering residents, and promoting the economic health of the area.


Property and Asset Management / Housing Applications - Affordable housing in the greater Los Angeles area is being managed by the Little Tokyo Service Center.  Housing is available in communities as Little Tokyo, Chinatown, Echo Park, and Koreatown.  Senior Housing is available in Torrance and Sun Valley.


Real Estate Development - The Real Estate Development Program has developed over 740 units of affordable housing for low-income families, children and individuals and over 130,000 square feet of community facilities and commercial space.  Details and information on each project is available.


Social Services - Our staff assists seniors and low-income residents in Little Tokyo and the LA area.  Services include assistance with Social Security, Medicare, Medi-Cal; information and referral; counseling, case management services in English, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin.


Asians for Miracle Marrow Matches (A3M) - A3M has a mission is to improve the health and welfare of all people by providing education and assistance while facilitating prompt access to potential marrow and blood cell donors.

API SBP Program

Asian Pacific Islander Small Business Program (API SBP) - The mission of the API SBP is: to assist the development of small and micro businesses in LA with a particular focus on the Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Thai and Filipino business communities, especially those of low-income immigrants.
